I do like ESTC as a company. However, I would NOT buy that stock prior to its earnings report. It is a stock for the watch list as it has shown the ability to make explosive moves. I prefer to buy leading stocks after they report earnings in order to avoid the risk. I may pay more for the stock but it is considered "insurance" against a catastrophic loss. ESTC is not a leading stock currently
