Long Term Hold
Hello Mr. Marty.
From what I can gather you are holding 6 stocks (BROS, DASH, HIMS, HOOD, RBRK, TGTX) for the long-term. I have all of the above with the exception of HIMS (too wild for me) in my long-term account. Can you please advise what needs to occur for you in order for you to exit the full position? For example: 1) if it closes below the daily 21 ema! or 2) if the daily forms a lower-low or 3) if the weekly forms a lower-low.
Thanks for all that you do 🙂
Jay,
I do not blame you for not getting involved with HIMS as it is highly volatile. Â These stocks (HOOD TGTX BROS RBRK HIMS DASH) I own in a retirement account as I believe they are taking market share and their stock price will reflect this over time.
I will hold these stocks unless the story changes. As I have mentioned in the past, their growth will not be linear and we can expect an "off quarter" once in a while. However, if they have two bad quarters consecutively then I may need to evaluate the position.
Technical analysis (stop-losses and selling as it slices the 50sma) does not apply with the type of position trades. I may be underwater in position at some point  time, and I am OK with that as I believe they will appreciate longer term
Regards,
Marty
