I have done some study of CANSLIM and read about about "stages" - but I am still not 100% sure about terms like "late" stage.

Would you be able to do a bit on this topic in one of the weekend videos?

The term "late stage base" is relative and I would not allow it deter me from entering a stock. Anything later than a 5th stage base is considered to carry more risk. But, SHOP had 12 stages before finally cratering during the 2022 bear market.  You would have missed an epic run had you sold at the 5th stage base. I will certainly create a video this weekend to include IBD style base "stages" which is different from Stan Weinstein's version.
